Saw a tweet that said “They gotta start creating half term for adults because I’m tired” 🙃 • Teachers are tired. The half-term is really for us as much as it is for our children 😂 • My half term will look like doctoral assignments, sleeping, marking (maybe), sleeping, reading, chores, date with my goddaughter, sleeping, blogging (I hope) and before I know it...a week will be done. • Happy Half-term sha ✌🏾

THE EXCELLENT WOMAN • I’m proud of myself. I’m proud of my growth. I’m proud of the excellence I carry. I’m proud of my achievements. I’m proud of The Source of my Strength - God. • On days like this where I’ve done a full day of teaching, marking and my own doctoral studies, at every point where I feel tired or nervous...I remind myself that ‘excellence is the norm’. THE PROFESSIONAL • I am a leader in education and my experience ranges from being Deputy Head of Sixth Form, Head of Psychology and Lead Practitioner. In addition, I am a chartered assessor and experienced examiner. • My first degree is in Psychology (BSc) from the University of Surrey, I hold two teaching qualifications, PTTLS (Preparing to teach in the lifelong learning sector) and PGCE Post Compulsory gained at the world’s number one university for education, UCL’s Institute of Education. I have a Masters in Educational Assessment also from UCL; in which I achieved a distinction (A) for my 22,000-word Master’s thesis. THE DOCTOR • “...Believe God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did” — Romans‬ ‭4:17‬, NKJV‬‬ • God called it and I am living it. The enemy tried to stamp out the promise that was spoken before I was conceived in my mother’s womb but guess what we did...STEPPED ON HIS NECK and held onto the unfailing promises of God! By the Grace of God I started my doctorate in September 2019 while in recovery, after being resuscitated the month before; 7 days after my 26th birthday. THE PUBLIC SPEAKER • As the Lord leads, I’m often invited to various events as a guest speaker, workshop facilitator, worship leader, teacher or whatever it is that I am invited to do. THE WORSHIPPER • I love worship. I love using my voice to point to Jesus. Moreover, I love that all areas of my life point to Him. From my work to my studies and my relationships; all of these areas worship Him. • I’ve been writing songs since secondary school! I still write and at the end of last year I had the confidence to share a few songs as part of my EP launch — ‘Journaling To A Melody’; which will be available on all platforms later this year. • Sometimes, I do feel like a ‘Jackie of all trades...GRACED for all’ 😂 and I am grateful that God has blessed me with the ability to do so much.
