‘Your feelings are real, not reliable’ (unknown author).
Love this quote!
We should never dismiss our feelings. Feel what you need to feel, but ultimately remember that your feelings are so transient that they can never replace the truth. They should not be the sole determinant of your decisions and reactions.
I’ve been guilty of reacting and deciding based on my feelings and it hasn’t always been cute 😂 but thank God for mercy, grace and the unchanging truth that no matter how I ‘feel’ about something, I can be certain of the way God expects me to react; from the wisdom in His word.
Learning to react on His reliable word and not my unreliable feelings.
