Start A Bible Challenge!

Hello!
So you want to start a Bible Challenge…that’s awesome. Below is a list of all the challenges available to you with a description.

whyBible challenges go beyond reading because we share our understanding with each other. As you read use the respective hash tag  for the challenge via Facebook, Instagram and twitter to share your points.

Please use a Bible Version that you understand – NIV, NCV, NLT and The Message are great for starters (be cautious of word changes or missing verses – always use an older bible version as a concordant when studying, i.e. NKJV)! If you struggle to read your Bible, check out my blog post titled: Help…I have Bible Reading Issues!

Feel free to tweet me, @doctorkanayo with any questions or comments.

FOS Challenge aka Fruit of the Spirit Challenge (Blog Only)

photo 3 (13)The Fruit of The Spirit Challenge is a SEVEN day challenge or buffet. We will read our foundation scripture Galatians 5:22-23 daily, and study a specific Fruit for each day with relevant scriptures. Galatians 5 will get a lot of us IN CHECK. We’re quick to say that we’re born again and have the Holy Spirit. But we don’t produce the fruit that reflects the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. We claim to be transformed…let the fruits speak for themselves in our lives. Let’s learn about these amazing fruits.

James Challenge (Blog Only)

The James Challenge is a 5 day challenge, where we read the 5 chapters in the book of James in the Bible! The book of James really focuses on our attitudes and behaviours as Christians which I believe is so key in really getting the most out of our Christian walk and abiding in God’s will for us!

Daniel Challenge (Blog Only)

The Daniel Challenge is a 12day challenge, where we read the 12 chapters in the book of Daniel in the Bible! The book of Daniel really focuses on our character and identity, especially in the area of being CONSISTENT and LOYAL which I believe is so key in really getting the most out of our Christian walk and abiding in God’s will for us!

Living Waters Challenge (Blog Only)

photo 1The Living Waters Challenge is based on the book called ‘Living Waters’ written by my sister Susan Deborahs who is looking at ‘Self-Esteem‘ today! . Our main scripture is taken from John 4:1-42. Please read it for further understanding throughout the challenge. John 4 is about a Samaritan woman who had an encounter with Jesus at the well. Now this woman wasn’t any woman, she was a woman with issues, she had been married five times and the man that she was with wasn’t even her husband. Now, we may not have five husbands but those five husbands can represent different issues that we battle with on a daily basis. Struggles are not wrong to have until we refuse to face it and deal with it.

  1. Hello Kanayo, I was just wondering if there is an email address to contact you for advice?

  3. I just completed your 4 day Psychology of Forgiveness devotional in the You Version Bible Study app. I have completed approx 36 studies, and although all of them were helpful/valuable, I feel your study was the most helpful. I am having some issues with my daughter and granddaughter over major differences on current worldly affairs, neither one of them are saved, which is part of the cause of our disagreements. Also my best friend and his wife are having marital problems, and I have referred them to your study. THANKS so much for your work. Love you and God bless YOU.

    1. Dear James,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with the devotional. I give glory to God for the impact that it has had on you and your willingness to share it with others in your community. Forgiveness is beautifully challenging and I pray that you will receive strength as you confront the issues of life! God bless you! Love, Kanayo x
