Day 3 – Beauty In The Beast: How To Suffer Well

Sometimes we hold-back on sharing our hearts with God out of fear that God won’t be able to handle it. But I assure you, that nothing takes God by surprise. Nothing is too big for God to handle. Rather, sincerity of heart and brokenness is what He desires, far above the facade of strength that we often try to put up. So how do we suffer ‘well’ when we are in the valley?

Day 2 – Beauty In The Beast: How To Suffer Well

To 'dare', is 'to have the courage to contend against’. I dared to contend against the NHS report concerning my diagnosis. I dared to contend against what I could see with my physical eyes which was near-death. I dared to contend against my doubts. I dared to believe that God had already healed me. I put my personal trust and confidence in Him and let go of the trust and confidence that I had in myself or other humans. And now I dare you to do the same!

Day 1 – Beauty In The Beast: How To Suffer Well

I have no doubt that the most common question that we ask God when we encounter suffering is; ‘God, why is this happening to me?’ I know this because it was the same question that I asked God when I received my diagnosis of this rare serious illness. God’s response to me was, ‘Why not you?’

A mother’s love – #BeautyInTheBeast

My warrior mummy 💛🙏🏾 Strong and mighty woman. Selfless woman. Faithful woman. Together we walked through the valley of the shadow of death. Not many will understand the cost, but the Lord himself who sees all, delights in your sacrifice.

Psalm 23:4 – #BeautyInTheBeast

‘EVEN THOUGH I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil’. - Psalm 23:4 The conjunction ‘even though’ makes me understand that the valley is an expected part of the Christian walk. The word ‘walk’ makes me understand I need not run through this valley experience and I dare not stand still. The only thing I need to do is walk WITH God. And if I ever felt compelled to 'run', it would only be into the name of JESUS (Proverbs 18:10). Finally, the word ‘through’ is a word of hope in this verse. ‘Through’ tells me that the valley is not its not a permanent experience.

Beauty In HIS Pain – #BeautyInTheBeast

This testimony points to Jesus. No matter what the healing process looks like, I trust that because of His finished work on the cross, that this too has an end. There is Healing in His wounds! There is unfathomable Beauty In His Pain before any Beauty In The Beast of human pain.

Crazy Faith = Crazy Results #BeautyInTheBeast

Sometimes when you’re praying you have to show the devil that you are madder than him! Crazy faith = Crazy results!

This testimony is bigger than me #BeautyInTheBeast

Sometimes God will let you go through to let you know that He IS! I pray that this testimony will spin the world and that many will come to the revelation of God through this. May this testimony serve as a reminder that God is able to pull you out from the depths of death and that He is still Jehovah Rapha — the Lord who Heals.
