When Hope Hurts: Miscarriage and faith devotional

Miscarriage is a kind of grief that often feels silent, unseen, and hard to explain. Itโ€™s the loss of a life you never got to meet, the end of dreams that had already begun to form, and the painful tension of faith existing alongside disappointment. Keep Me – #BeautyInTheBeast

He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord.

A mother’s love – #BeautyInTheBeast

My warrior mummy ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ Strong and mighty woman. Selfless woman. Faithful woman. Together we walked through the valley of the shadow of death. Not many will understand the cost, but the Lord himself who sees all, delights in your sacrifice.

Psalm 23:4 – #BeautyInTheBeast

โ€˜EVEN THOUGH I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evilโ€™. - Psalm 23:4 The conjunction โ€˜even thoughโ€™ makes me understand that the valley is an expected part of the Christian walk. And if I ever felt compelled to 'run', it would only be into the name of JESUS (Proverbs 18:10). Finally, the word โ€˜throughโ€™ is a word of hope in this verse. โ€˜Throughโ€™ tells me that the valley is not its not a permanent experience.

Beauty In HIS Pain – #BeautyInTheBeast

This testimony points to Jesus. No matter what the healing process looks like, I trust that because of His finished work on the cross, that this too has an end. There is Healing in His wounds! There is unfathomable Beauty In His Pain before any Beauty In The Beast of human pain.
